This study concerns the historical reconstruction of agricultural schools created in the state of Paraná. Its objective is to analyze the constitution and institutionalization of the Rural Workers Schools of Paraná as a demand for the economic expansion of this state and the welfarist profile that the institution has acquired. Through a bibliographic and documentary study using literature, laws, regulations and curricular organization regarding schools, it was possible to understand that the creation of these institutions, linked to the interests of the State in professionalization, also aimed disciplination and regeneration through work, in order to discipline orphans and abandoned children.
