Abstract

This study proposes a discussion about the memory of education materialized in the texts of the PNLD 2021 Life Project textbooks .Supported by  Materialistic Discourse Analysis, it implied gestures that, committed to the search for understanding the movements of (de)stabilization of the senses, allowed us to infer that the authors' identification with a Meritocratic Formation resulted in the creation of effects of a sense of protagonism, promise of possibility and student responsibility. DF represents a Marketing-Educational FI that makes individual responsibility for success or failure obvious and produces a silencing of inequalities and injustices.

Master's and Doctorate in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Associate Professor III at the Department of Teaching and Curriculum (DEC) of the Faculty of Education (FACED)/UFRGS) and Permanent Professor at the Graduate Program in Education (UFRGS). Leader of the Research Group on Education and Discourse Analysis/GPEAD (CNPq/UFRGS). Research and teaching areas: Didactics, Language Studies, Educational Technology.

Marcos Duarte Machado, UFRGS

Licenciatura em Ciências Sociais, Especialização respectivamente em Ensino de Sociologia, Supervisão Escolar e Orientação Educaional, Mestrado (em andamento) em Educação no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Professor nomeado na Secretaria de Educação do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul comvíncula na  Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental Dr. Victor de Britto.
