Abstract

In this article, we aimed to analyze the characteristics of the decolonial pedagogies of militancy and how an Other Education is configured in the "Associação dos Discentes Quilombolas da Universidade Federal do Pará (ADQ/UFPA)". As a methodology, we adopted decolonial ethnography, with the research corpus constructed from participant observation and dialogic interviews. In this sense, when we assume an anthropology committed to life, we connect with the Association of Quilombola Students, with its struggles and its decolonial pedagogies of militancy: “Pedagogy of collectivity”, “Pedagogy of solidarity”, “Pedagogy of respect” and “Pedagogy of of perseverance”.

Professor, pesquisador e pedagogo da Universidade do Estado do Pará (UEPA). Doutorando em Educação (Educação, Cultura e Sociedade) pela Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). Mestre em Educação (Saberes Culturais e Educação na Amazônia) e graduado em Pedagogia pela UEPA. Desenvolve pesquisas na área da Educação Popular e dos Estudos Culturais, vinculado ao Núcleo de Educação Popular Paulo Freire (NEP/UEPA) e aos Grupos de Pesquisa "Constituição do Sujeito, Cultura e Educação (ECOS)" e "José Veríssimo e o Pensamento Educacional Latinoamericano" do Instituto de Ciências da Educação (ICED) da UFPA. Sócio da Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Educação (ANPEd). Em seu Currículo Lattes os termos mais frequentes na contextualização da produção científica vinculam-se às áreas da Educação Popular, da Educação de Jovens e Adultos e dos Estudos Culturais na Educação.
