This article discusses the modulations of emotions in the training of literacy teachers, with the aim of understanding the links between the emotion of joy and learning. It is a qualitative study based on the theories of Humberto Maturana's Biology of Knowing, the psychogenetic theory of Emília Ferreiro and Ana Teberosky and the didactic constructions of the Education, Research Methodology and Action Study Group. The main markers were recurring self-narratives and questions from the literacy teachers. The learning process made it possible to see transformations in emotions and didactic creations aimed at the literacy of everyone in the school.
