This article aims to describe an experience that occurred in the IFPA - Federal Institute for Education, Science and Technology of Para - Campus Tucuruí, with students selected from the classes from 1st to 4th year of Environmental Sanitation, Computer and Electrical Engineering, all belonging to Education Integrated technical High School. This experience occurred from August 2009 to June 2011 and is intended here to describe the process of writing the students involved in the workshops offered at the Institute of text and also evaluate the strategies of reading and of writing - always with the support of teachers of geography, history, sociology, philosophy, psychologists, social workers, among other professionals. Finally, based on the results, we establish here a proposal for a dynamic and interactive workshop, which awakens the student to read good books and different, which contributes to better develop the argument. This was a project that also made use of existing legislation in our country, because what you want from it is to form critical citizens, conscious of the important role they play in society and therefore know their rights and duties. The method of working combines critical reading of informational texts (taken from newspapers, magazines, Internet and books) and literary devices to form a real player and is very well explored exercises oral and written production. The theoretical basis for the workshops is anchored in Angela Kleiman, Mariza Lajolo and Delia Lerner. The results confirm the success of the proposals made here in the books written by and used.Downloads
