Learn to care: perceptions of reception between users and professional of the health-PET Program experience

Backgound and Objectives: The host is a necessary tool to promote changes in the in health work process, building capable links of maintaining the the citizens therapeutic relationship, ensuring quality of access to health services and promote the autonomy. This study aimed to examine health care from the perspective of users and health professionals from a Family Health Unit of Recife, city. Method: This is a descriptive, qualitative technique using the Collective Subject Discourse. Data were collected through direct observation and semi structured interviews applied to 11 professionals and 28 users. Results: For the majority of respondents would welcome the tool of humanization accomplished through the formation of the bond, the organization of the work process, participatory management and quality of access offered by the service. Conclusion: We conclude that the host can be considered a new technology in health care, as viewing all of the organizational structure and philosophy of the Family Health Strategy, making it necessary to participate actively and effectively in all occupational categories for its realization in practice.Downloads
