The city of Barra do Choça, 27 km from Vitoria da Conquista, always stood out in coffee production in the Planalto da Conquista of achievement since the implementation of culture. This work aimed to study the role of the inserted women in various sectors of the coffee production chain in Barra do Choça of the city in Bahia, aimed at satisfaction with the activity that carries the work/ family relationship and self-esteem, your self-esteem and the definition of who this woman is. This study was conducted through a questionnaire, including personal data, operations in the coffee production chain, relationship work/family, work trajectory away from home, job satisfaction, leisure on weekends woman in coffee growing, and who is name of the interviewee. They interviewed 25 women in different sector of production chain of coffee, between them, 24 in rural area, wich is Assentamento Mocambo, Ingazeira e Santo Antonio II (three), Pau Brasil e Santo Antonio I (two), Boa Vista e Coqueiro (one), Sossego (nine) e in urban region of Barra do Choça (one). And concluded that the participation of women in the coffee sector in the city of Barra do Choça, is growing and that these women are satisfied with the activity engaged because they can reconcile work and family, and have high self-esteem.Downloads
