Situated in the poststructuralist aspect of Cultural Studies in Education, this article problematizes and discusses ‘selfies’ practices and uses of Instagram, proposing a reflection on the pedagogical potential of these cultural and social items, as they are involved in the education and production of certain ways of being and acting. Supported by Gilles Lipovetsky's relevant considerations, that are linked to this perspective images flexibility that are characteristic of cyberculture practices, aligned with the understanding that hypermodern period has marked a culture that emphasizes visibility and fundamental precepts for the production and images consumption.Downloads
