Abstract

This article aims to discuss the representation of school and the teacher’s stereotypes in the English educational context based on the reading of the novel Notes on a Scandal by Zoë Heller. The essay also tries to connect this analyzes between the British and Brazilian educational system when considering the changes in our society nowadays.
