Intertextual relations in Beatriz Viégas-Faria’s poem “Posando”

Abstract

The present study analyses Beatriz Viégas-Faria’s poem “Posando”, in her book called: Pampa pernambucano: poesia, imagens, e-mails. It starts analyzing the intertextual and interartistic relations to understand the author’s creative process. The poem (as the whole book) has singular characteristics for several reasons, mainly because of the comparative nature and Beatriz Viégas-Faria’s passion by Gil Vicente’s pictorial works. The analysis of the poem presupposes that the confluences enlarge the significances to the reader, and reveals that Beatriz Viégas-Faria’s strategy of the form results in a poem-metaphor about writing using intertextual and Interdisciplinary relations.
